About the Role: The Registered Nurse Clinical Staff Leader will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care and promoting optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a collaborative approach to care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellence in patient care and adhering to Penn State Health's standards.
  • Carefully assess patient acuity and adjust staffing levels accordingly to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to enhance patient outcomes and improve quality of care.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to promote a culture of professionalism, respect, and open communication.


Requirements: To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a med surg setting.
  • An Associate's degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
  • ACLS required.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): BSN and ACLE preferred.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience.
