Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg / Telemetry unit at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer medications, monitor for reactions, and provide education to patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS certification prior to orientation completion.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
