Retail Sales Representative

Retail Sales Representatives are tasked with engaging customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring those needs are fulfilled. Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome and assist customers promptly upon their arrival.
- Maintain a courteous and attentive demeanor towards customers. Make eye contact and smile. Avoid neglecting customer interactions.
- Guide customers in locating products within assigned sections or throughout the store, and provide necessary information or advice. Notify management of requested items that are not in stock.
- Monitor for potential theft and act according to company policies to deter shoplifting. Excellent customer service can help prevent such incidents.
- Ensure an outstanding experience for every customer by being helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Adhere to the S.A.L.E.S process.
- Wear your communication devices to facilitate effective interaction with fellow associates or management. Always display your name tag and maintain a clean appearance with Ace-branded attire.
- Address customer inquiries and propose solutions to their issues.
- Stay informed about weekly and monthly promotions to advise customers on special offers.
- Implement price adjustments on merchandise as directed by management.
- Remove outdated promotional materials and display current signage.
- Assist customers with large or heavy items and outdoor carryout orders.
- Perform tasks such as screening repairs, cutting materials, making keys, filling propane, and mixing paint as required.
- Handle customer complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
- Review and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a supportive retail environment.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions organized by the company.
- Provide and accept constructive feedback and guidance.
- Engage in fronting, stocking, and merchandising activities.
- Lift, move, and manage merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Possess knowledge of retail hardware products and a willingness to learn.
- Promote Ace Rewards and community initiatives.
- Support and nurture business customer relationships.
- Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing merchandise as directed by management.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in your assigned department.
- Regularly verify inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to management.
