Radar Repairer Job Description
The Army National Guard is seeking skilled individuals to join their team as Radar Repairers. As a Radar Repairer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of military radar equipment, which is essential for communication operations.
Your duties will include troubleshooting and testing radar systems, understanding air traffic control, missile tracking, air defense, and other radar systems, as well as the ability to repair them. You will also be responsible for installing receivers, transmitters, and other components, and preparing and maintaining equipment logs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and adjust system components, and test equipment to specific tolerances
- Perform initial, in-process, on-site technical, and quality control inspections
Requirements:
- Interest in working with electronic equipment and radar communication
- Ability to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be a U.S. citizen
