Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist - Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with a talented team of cardiologists in a newly upgraded facility featuring cutting-edge cardiovascular labs.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and operating cardiovascular equipment, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment. As a valued member of our team, you will also have the opportunity to serve as a preceptor for new staff and students in radiologic technology.
Responsibilities

Prepare and operate cardiovascular equipment to facilitate diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure, adhering to stringent quality control standards.
Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Serve as a preceptor for new staff and students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the radiologic technology department.
Qualifications

Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Previous experience working in a procedural area, preferably in cardiovascular technology, is preferred but not mandatory.
BLS certification is required; ACLS training should be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes a competitive hourly rate ranging from $27.84 to $45.46, depending on prior work experience.
