Respiratory Therapist for Pediatric Care

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our pediatric patients.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the PICU, NICU, and other pediatric units
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU
- Preferred skills: Nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, BiPAP, ventilator, HFNC, bronch assist, ABG
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Our pediatric respiratory therapy team works in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care to patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions. We use a variety of equipment, including Servo U ventilators, Avea ventilators, and V60 noninvasive ventilators.
