Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our pediatric patients in the ICU and other units.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current CRT or RRT certification
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in pediatric ICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU
  • Preferred skills: Nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, BiPAP, ventilator, HFNC, bronch assist, ABG
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
