Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As a key member of our pediatric respiratory care team, you will provide high-quality care to children of all ages with respiratory diseases and illnesses.
Responsibilities- Provide medically prescribed respiratory care to pediatric patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and airway clearance techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct bedside pulmonary function testing, sleep assessments, and breathing retraining.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Participate in in-house and ambulance transports of pediatric patients.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
