We are currently in search of a skilled and dedicated full-time Light Duty Automotive Technician to enhance our expanding service department. Our commitment to excellence in the automotive sector ensures that we provide high-quality repairs and exceptional service to our esteemed clientele.

The Light Duty Automotive Technician will play a vital role within our Express Service team, responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and fundamental repairs on a variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. We seek individuals who possess a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding automotive services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute light duty services, such as oil changes, maintenance tasks, fluid flushes, filter replacements, brake repairs, suspension work, oil leak repairs, tire repairs/replacements, and additional services.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to guarantee proper operation and safety.
  • Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy in vehicle repairs to meet customer satisfaction and quality benchmarks.
  • Utilize a checklist to systematically evaluate critical vehicle components, including hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other essential parts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Prior automotive experience or a degree from a technical institution is preferred but not essential.
  • Possession of personal tools is required (special tools and toolbox will be supplied by the dealership).
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and maintain a clean driving record.
