Data Enablement Manager

About the Role:
Performance Contracting Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Enablement Manager to join our dynamic IT Department located at our corporate office in Lenexa, Kansas.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our organization's data strategy forward, ensuring that data is leveraged effectively across all departments to drive business decisions and innovation.
You will oversee the development and implementation of data solutions, processes, and governance frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to define and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Data Enablement Leadership: Lead a team responsible for data governance, data architecture, data integration, data maintenance, data operations, and data analytics.
- Data Infrastructure and Tools: Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of data management tools and technologies.
- Data Quality and Compliance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, business intelligence, and analytics teams to integrate data solutions into business processes and applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data management, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data architecture, and data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., MS Fabric, SQL, Python, R).
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and their underlying architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based database platforms (e.g., Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure SQL Database).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree preferred.
- Professional certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) is highly desirable.
