Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the QA team and implement key QA processes to support the retailer's overall program objectives. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage relationships with retailer cross-functional teams, customers, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee a team of QA/Food Techs that service the QA function at the retailer account
* Assign and prioritize project workload for the team to enable timely delivery of high-quality processes and strategies
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned with Private Brand objectives
* Maintain industry and global working knowledge of basic QA and Food Science/Safety tools and methodologies

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Food Science, or related field
* 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to direct, lead, and develop people

Working Environment:

The work is performed primarily in an office environment. The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, which includes sitting for extended periods, hearing the telephone, and entering data on a computer. May require the ability to lift up to 30lbs.
