Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Proactively engage and make a connection with customers, asking questions and listening to their needs, directing them to merchandise, and providing premier customer service.
  • Organization: Maintain store appearance and ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Sales: Cross-sell products, know the layout of the store, make suggestions to customers based on their individual needs, and use a Point-of-Sales system to process transactions.
  • Inventory: Be the keeper of merchandise, complete inventory processes, and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
  • Dependability: Adhere to assigned work schedule and accurately complete follow-through on work assignments.
Requirements:
  • Product Knowledge: Moderate level of knowledge of products and merchandise.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail or relevant work experience, with 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with the ability to make change in American monetary units.
Work Environment:

This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Involves lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50lbs in some departments.
