This Jobot Job is hosted by: Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor responsible for leading and training personnel in the packaging and bulk loadout sectors to ensure all daily production targets are achieved.
You will oversee the daily activities of the loadout operation team to meet production and quality objectives; identify issues or production delays and address them; ensure that resources such as materials, equipment, and personnel are available to uphold production timelines; and promote continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise staff in the packaging and bulk loadout (shipping) departments.
Provide technical expertise for each piece of process equipment. Make real-time process control decisions to maintain safety, quality, and productivity as needed.
Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure that finished product quality specifications adhere to guidelines.
Monitor the efficiency and performance of personnel and processes within the packaging and bulk loadout (shipping) department.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with all GMP and BRC standards, ensuring readiness for inspections.
Quality, Safety, and Sanitation:Adhere to all personnel safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE, and ensure the safe operation of necessary tools and equipment.
Comply with all Food Safety, Quality Assurance, GMPs, Sanitation, and general plant policies and procedures.
Inspect products for overall appearance according to customer and QA/Food Safety standards and communicate with supervisors regarding any non-conforming products.
Possess mechanical aptitude and foundational electrical knowledge.
Demonstrate computer literacy and exceptional leadership capabilities.
