Tree Spike Handler

Job Summary:

As a Tree Spike Handler at Verdesian, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment. This includes reading and understanding written instructions, operating various machines, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for performing general housekeeping and maintenance tasks, as well as distributing documentation to production supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and understand written instructions on product types, labeling requirements, and storage locations
Operate equipment such as the 50 lb bagger, Super Sak bagging equipment, fork lift, coating drums, palletizer, and loading hopper
Complete daily operational documentation
Maintain accurate count of completed products and raw material & supply usage
Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of processing areas
Distribute documentation to production supervisors

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence
Ability to work in an industrial environment and lift 50 lbs
Superior safety practices and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Leadership skills and ability to drive change and improve processes
Ability to extend treatment to all employees with courtesy and dignity
