Production Home Assembler

The Production Home Assembler plays a crucial role in our factory assembly line environment, where they follow work orders and instructions to accurately and efficiently prepare and assemble building components and homes. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used to complete carpentry duties, including circular saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic nail guns, drills, and other necessary tools.
- Frame, layout, and build floors, walls, and roofs, ensuring accurate measurements and precise construction.
- Install and prepare drywall for finish tape, mud, and texture, and complete roof construction, decking, flashing, and shingling.
- Perform cabinet and finish carpentry and trim work, including installation and build-out.
- Install siding, windows, and doors, and paint the interior and exterior of homes.
- Collaborate with other team members to promote a team concept and adhere to all rules and regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic construction knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and troubleshoot problems.
Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors. Must wear protective equipment while on the job site.
This is a physically demanding role that requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Heavy work involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
