Endocrinologist, Transitions Specialist

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an exceptional Endocrinologist to join our team in the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in growing our outpatient transitions and virtual care programs, contributing to the core clinical, educational, and research missions of our academic medical center.
Clinical responsibilities will include coverage of our inpatient consult services, precepting fellows in the outpatient clinic, and expanding our division's footprint in North Carolina through virtual care services. This faculty member will have a focus on quality improvement and patient safety across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, be skilled at communicating and working collaboratively across disciplines/departments, and participate in the education of colleagues and trainees, including but not limited to medical students, residents, and fellows.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, efficient physician who is interested in innovative pathways of care. The outpatient practice is located at the UNC Eastowne Medical Office Building, a state-of-the-art center which opened in 2021 and is located just a few miles from the UNC Medical Center campus.
