The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to treating clients and their belongings with the utmost dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Empathy and understanding are crucial attributes for this position.

Compensation: $10-12 per hour (with a $250 bonus available after maintaining client care for a minimum of two months)

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, run errands, and provide transportation as necessary. Accompany clients to medical appointments and aid with medication management. Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and offer personal assistance with daily living activities, which may include toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. Provide financial assistance when required, such as managing checkbooks, visiting the bank, or helping clients with bill payments.
  • Companionship: Foster companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to stimulate and encourage clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
