Position Summary:
We are in search of a dedicated and safety-oriented individual to join our team as a Water Meter Installation Specialist. This role requires experience in both residential and commercial water meter installations, as well as a strong understanding of various installation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Water Meter Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
1. Conducting water meter changes and register updates.
2. Installing RF nodes for Automated Meter Reading (AMR).
3. Collaborating with local utilities to ensure seamless installations.
4. Utilizing Allegiant's Work Order Management system (WOMs) to manage appointments and tasks.
5. Documenting all fieldwork through a company-provided smartphone.

Ideal Candidate:
The optimal candidate will be an experienced Water Technician eager to work with municipal entities. This position is self-paced and involves site inspections, examinations, and installations. It requires regional travel to smaller communities across the United States, making it an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individuals seeking stable employment with competitive benefits.

Work Schedule:
This is a regional field position with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for extended hours and overtime. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the exchange of water meters and registers of various sizes.
- Familiarity with AMR/AMI backhaul technologies.
- Proficient smartphone skills for data processing in WOMs.
- Ability to perform visual inspections for leaks and identify hazards at meter sites.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude towards growth.
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in diverse weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Consistent employment history with relevant job duties.
