Position Summary:
We are in search of a dedicated and safety-oriented individual to join our team as a Water Meter Installation Specialist. This role requires expertise in both residential and commercial water meter installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct installations of new water meters on behalf of local utilities.
- Perform site inspections and examinations as part of the installation process.
- Execute water meter changes, register modifications, and install RF nodes for automated meter reading.
- Collaborate with local utilities to ensure quality service delivery.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily field-based, requiring travel to various smaller communities across the United States. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for extended hours and overtime.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in changing out water meters and registers of various sizes.
- Ability to connect AMR/AMI backhaul technologies to meter registers for automated readings.
- Proficient in processing field data using the Work Order Management system (WOMs).
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in validating customer accounts and ensuring all devices are linked correctly in the WOM system.

Job Type:
Full-time position with a competitive hourly wage based on qualifications. Willingness to travel is essential, with a work duration of 4 weeks on and 1 week off if home travel is not available on weekends.
