About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacist to join our team in Somerville, Massachusetts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional clinical care to patients in the acute and residential/partial psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily team-based rounding on assigned units and ensure optimal clinical care through assessment of patient-specific factors and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Assess patient-specific factors and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal clinical care in the acute and residential/partial psychiatric setting.
  • Work under constant time deadlines and occasionally exposed to possible carcinogenic, mutagenic, and sensitizing substances, as well as other hazardous chemicals typically found in a contemporary pharmacy setting.
Requirements
  • Education: BS and/or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Residency experience required. PGY2 residency in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or Psychiatry preferred.
  • Unrestricted pharmacy licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience required.
