Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry service. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our mental health services.
Job Summary:The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work in our inpatient units, providing clinical assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning in consultation with multidisciplinary teams. You will also be responsible for managing emergency situations and demonstrating expertise in nonviolent crisis prevention and management.
Responsibilities:- Perform clinical assessments and evaluations
- Plan, implement, and revise treatment in consultation with multidisciplinary teams
- Manage emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner
- Demonstrate expertise in nonviolent crisis prevention and management
- Complete patient chart documentation as required by governing bodies
- Master's degree in Nursing (Nursing preferred) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing or relevant clinical area
- Current Massachusetts licensure authorizing practice in an expanded role as a Psychiatric Nurse Clinical Specialist and authorization including prescriptive authority
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in inpatient or psychiatric emergency settings
