We are currently looking for educators across various age groups, from infants to school-age children, serving ages 4 weeks to 11 years. Our teachers play a crucial role in creating a collaborative teaching environment, overseeing the curriculum, and managing daily classroom operations.

It is essential for our educators to possess a deep understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to foster a safe and engaging learning atmosphere where children can thrive.

Effective communication skills with both children and adults are vital to meet the diverse needs of our students, guide teaching assistants, and address parental inquiries.

Childcare educators are expected to demonstrate patience, compassion, and creativity while working in the classroom. Our center is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes cognitive growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive learning environment that reflects the values of A Joyful Noise.
  • Adhere to Early Achievers Quality Standards and comply with relevant childcare regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with families, children, staff, and community partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to encourage positive behavior among children.
  • Monitor and document children's growth, development, and behaviors.
  • Address the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe learning environment.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation.
  • Be prepared to engage in physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Exhibit high energy and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
  • Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Support the individual needs of every child and their families.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of center policies and expectations.
  • Design activities aligned with curriculum goals and developmentally appropriate practices.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • 30 STARS hours in childcare basics.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
  • Food Handler's certification.
  • Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test.
  • Completion of Infant Safe Sleep and Mandated Reporter training.
  • MMR and COVID-19 vaccinations.

We are open to working with candidates who are willing to fulfill these requirements promptly. A Joyful Noise offers on-site paid training upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with at least 30 credits in ECE.
  • Short certificate in Early Childhood Education.
  • Minimum of one year of childcare experience.
  • Familiarity with Early Achievers and ProCare Software.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant childcare regulations.
