Job Summary

MEDIKO INC is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and comprehensive medical care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications to patients
  • Stock and manage pharmacy supplies
  • Record medication administration and inventory
  • Collaborate with security staff and medical team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) OR Registered Medical Assistant (AAMT) required
  • Associate's Degree required
  • One year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) OR Registered Medical Assistant (AAMT) required
  • Active CPR/BLS certificate required
