OVERVIEW: The ATI Solutions Advocate serves as a pivotal student leader, championing the use of ATI resources while providing essential support to fellow students in the Nursing Program. This role emphasizes mentorship and guidance, ensuring that all students maximize their educational experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Peer Training on ATI Resources:

1. Acts as a knowledgeable guide for new students navigating the ATI platform, including:

i. Facilitating the onboarding process to ensure all resources are effectively utilized.

ii. Assisting peers with fundamental navigation of the website.

iii. Reviewing student performance and discussing strategies for improvement.

2. Takes initiative in addressing student inquiries, which includes:

i. Being readily available to assist with any challenges faced by students.

ii. Serving as a communication bridge with ATI for student-related questions.

iii. Promoting collaboration between instructors and students for enhanced academic support.

Mentorship and Leadership:

1. Provides ongoing support to students throughout their program to optimize their use of ATI resources.

2. Offers advice on effective time management techniques and strategies.

3. Directs peers to institutional resources that aid in developing time management skills.

4. Guides students through their personal ATI journeys and educational challenges.

General Duties:
  • Complies with University policies and serves as a role model for peers through mentorship and leadership.
  • Ensures punctuality and proper reporting of work hours.
  • Conducts responsibilities in alignment with the University's ethical standards and policies.
  • Maintains adherence to departmental protocols and participates in required training sessions.
  • Upholds confidentiality regarding all student and institutional information.
  • Practices careful use and maintenance of departmental resources and identifies any safety concerns.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinates class schedules with supervisors to avoid conflicts with work hours.
