Logistics and Materials Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Delivery Systems Specialist to join our team at Space Exploration Technologies Corp. in Redmond, WA.
This role will be responsible for supporting our Starlink production factory by completing bulk pick-ups, loading, and delivery duties between our facilities and various vendors and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and materials management, with experience operating LTL equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and using forklifts to move items around the facility.
You'll also be responsible for contributing to Receiving, Material Handling, and Inventory operations within the Distribution Center and across SpaceX as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading, driving, and unloading manufacturing, test, and support items within a 200-mile radius of the SpaceX campus
- Operating LTL equipment (under 26k GVW) including vans and flat-beds meeting all federal, state, and local transportation requirements and regulations
- Safely loading trucks at pickup points and transporting truckloads to destination following the rules of the road at all times
- Safely loading and unloading trucks at designated drop-off points
- Forklift use will be the primary method of loading and unloading trucks
- Ensuring truckload contents are secure for safe and undamaged delivery to the destination
- Scanning barcodes meeting business WMS requirements
- Contributing to Receiving, Material Handling, and Inventory operations within the Distribution Center and across SpaceX as needed
The salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
