Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate at Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Assist with store operations, including receiving and processing donations, stocking shelves, and operating a forklift (after completing company-specific training).
  • Monitor and maintain store displays, including special displays, racks, shelves, bins, and other areas displaying items for sale.
  • Support leadership in achieving sales goals and promoting a positive store culture.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; up to one month of related experience and/or training may be considered.
  • Ability to read and write English preferred.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to stand for up to eight hours, walk up to eight hours, and lift up to 100 pounds.
