Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician I to join our team in Scarborough, ME. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assist with the loading of shipments
  • Prepare dispatch logs for drivers with routes, drops, and pickups
  • Maintain communications with drivers during the day and make routing updates as necessary
  • Prepare commercial bills of lading and IBSS paperwork
  • Ensure packaging specifications are followed per customer requirements

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of shipping and receiving experience
  • Knowledgeable with automated systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members
  • Able to lift to 70 lbs
  • Knowledgeable in packaging and labeling material
  • Follows and understands shipping procedures
  • Certified to drive a forklift
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment

Physical Demands:

  • Work may require the ability to lift 10-20 pounds infrequently
  • Ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods may be required

Environmental Exposure:

  • May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers, etc.
