We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Kettering Health. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of a senior laboratory professional, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in the areas of chemistry, hematology, transfusion service, and microbiology. You will also be responsible for accessing coordinator or other professional personnel as needed, and may assist with other technical teams and CLA's as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate's degree in Lab Science and be certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). You will also need to be credentialed through the Proficiency Examination administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
