Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Foreclosure Attorney to join our team at Timothy D Padgett PA Law Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire Non-Judicial Foreclosure process, ensuring compliance and efficiency from referral to sale.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties Include:

  • Oversee all facets of the Non-Judicial Foreclosure process, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Handle both routine and complex litigation arising from the Replevin process.
  • Manage pre-litigation cases and assist in clearing titles for real estate properties.
  • Conduct thorough case analyses and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Draft necessary court documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the firm.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and quick decision-making capabilities.
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Active member of the Georgia State Bar, maintaining all licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in creditors' rights, real estate, or mortgage servicing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with foreclosure and replevin processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of evidence rules and the introduction of evidence is essential.
  • Understanding of consumer protection laws, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage a substantial caseload.
