Job Summary:The Ontario Promise Corps Advisor will work closely with students, families, and community partners to provide academic support, career guidance, and college access resources. This role requires a strong commitment to serving the community and a passion for education and youth development.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and plan enriching college visits and career exploration activities for students
- Represent the Promise Scholars program at school and community events
- Deliver presentations and workshops on college access and success strategies
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students and families
- Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement program initiatives
- Track and record student engagement and milestones
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in youth development, education, or non-profit work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Annual living allowance stipend up to $30,000
- Education award up to $10,000 upon satisfactory completion of service
