About the Role

Zurich Insurance Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crop Field Adjuster to join our team. As a Crop Field Adjuster, you will be responsible for conducting field inspections and investigations to determine the extent of crop damage and losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough field inspections to assess crop damage and losses
  • Collect and analyze data to determine the cause and extent of crop damage
  • Communicate with farmers and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates
  • Utilize company software to transmit claims information and ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area
  • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date
  • Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
