Your Role as an AI Strategy Leader in Finance
In the capacity of AI Strategy Leader for Finance at Micron Technology, Inc., you will spearhead the integration of cutting-edge technologies within business operations by conceptualizing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive AI and advanced analytics solutions seamlessly embedded in everyday workflows. Your team will leverage industry-leading practices in automation, AI, and machine learning to enhance Micron's operational efficiency and effectiveness across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Finance departments to facilitate AI-driven transformation at Micron, pioneering innovative solutions.
- Engage closely with end users within business functions to grasp their requirements, challenges, and potential opportunities. Utilize extensive domain expertise in both data and processes to design and execute impactful AI solutions.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams consisting of Data Scientists and Technical Solutions experts.
- Provide insights into existing data resources, identify data gaps, and work alongside data scientists to apply diverse AI methodologies for technical solutions. Serve as the authority on Micron's data assets, translating project needs into specific data requirements and collaborating with technical teams to fulfill these needs.
- Develop business cases, drive solution implementation using agile methodologies, including impact assessment and return on investment analysis for proposed solutions, and prioritize projects for execution.
- Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including project sponsors, data custodians, technical teams, and end users, to ensure clarity in expectations, deliverables, and feedback.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of business functions, particularly in finance or sales.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI solutions, with experience in delivering systems for financial applications being advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual reasoning abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with data science is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Aptitude for building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, and managing partnerships.
