Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Relationship Banker to provide exceptional service to our customers by handling their financial needs in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of retail banking experience, excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, and credit products, and exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the Bank's philosophy of Building Excellence and provides excellent customer service.
  • Profiles customers while opening or servicing deposit accounts to determine needs.
  • Responsible for the overall branch customer experience, assisting clients with deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks, performing transfers, and issuing bank checks.
  • Processes all types of new account transactions, cross-sells the Bank's products and services, and strives to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Accepts secured and unsecured consumer loan and personal lines of credit applications and opens all types of consumer and business deposit products and related services.
  • Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and recognizing cross-sales opportunities.
  • Performs daily check scanning, vault settlement, ATM settlement, night drop deposits, and assists with opening/closing branch procedures as necessary.
  • Achieves all individual/branch goals as assigned, including deposit, loan, and portfolio growth goals, revenue, and risk management targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of retail banking experience in a financial services industry.
  • 1 year experience explaining credit products and accepting/closing loan applications.
  • Intermediate math skills, including calculating interest and percentages, balancing accounts, and performing basic arithmetic operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services to open accounts.
  • Relationship building, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate experience, knowledge, and training in all operational activities and terminology.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changes in the work environment.
