Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support young individuals in their journey towards achieving their full potential. The Transportation and Administrative Support Specialist role is ideal for a passionate behavioral health expert eager to contribute positively to the community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing transportation for school, appointments, and emergencies, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 2 PM to 9 PM as needed.
  • Collaborating with a supportive team to ensure a flexible work environment.

About Happy Acres: We are a non-profit, state-licensed group home dedicated to caring for girls aged 8-17 who are in the foster care system due to abuse or neglect. A genuine love for children and the ability to maintain strong boundaries are essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Possession of a valid Arizona driver's license, along with a 5-year driving record, a fingerprint clearance card, and the ability to pass a drug screening, physical examination, and TB test.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid and training in Prevention and Support.

Available Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 7 AM - 2 PM
  • Evening Shift: 2 PM - 9 PM
  • Overnight Shift: 9 PM - 7 AM
  • On-call availability for any of the above shifts

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications for documentation and progress notes (SOAP).
  • Experience in administering medication and escorting youth to appointments.
  • Ability to build rapport with youth to foster positive behavior.
  • Adherence to daily schedules for school and appointments, ensuring safe transportation and completion of progress notes.
