Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Dimension Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other culinary team members to create innovative and delicious menu items that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Assume responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen supervisory experience with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • ACF Certification, Culinary Arts degree, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of cooks and other kitchen staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and open communication.
