Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of scientists and researchers in the design, development, and optimization of ion chromatography and sample preparation systems and methodologies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our ion chromatography offerings.
  • Foster a culture of scientific excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement by providing mentorship and guidance to your team.
  • Through strategic decision-making and effective resource allocation, optimize R&D processes and drive efficiency.
  • Shape the team's research priorities and strategic direction by staying abreast of industry trends and customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with external research organizations, industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and academic institutions to stay at the forefront of research.
Requirements
  • MS degree in Chemistry or other relevant scientific fields is required; PhD is preferred with 12+ years experience and 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Understanding of the principles, techniques, and instrumentation of analytical chemistry is crucial in research and development (R&D) environments.
  • Proficiency in leading and running sophisticated R&D projects from conception to commercialization, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation talents, capable of articulately translating complex scientific ideas and research developments to a diverse audience, including both specialists and laypersons.
