Position Overview

NY Wholesale Intercom Group Corp is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Junior Audio/Visual Technician. This entry-level position involves assisting with inquiries related to intercom systems and audio/visual technologies. A foundational knowledge of electronics and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams is essential. While prior hands-on experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. We offer comprehensive training on our specific products and systems. Health insurance and additional benefits will be available following a 90-day introductory period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming inquiries from field installers, providing effective solutions and guidance remotely.
  • Configuring intercom systems based on architectural layouts.
  • Evaluating returned products for damage, conducting tests, and performing repairs on various components.
  • Testing products from manufacturers for defects and offering constructive feedback for enhancements.
  • Supporting customers in the field with installation, troubleshooting, and programming assistance as required.
    • We have a reimbursement program for the use of personal vehicles related to service calls.
  • Addressing customer inquiries regarding hardware functionality.
  • Delivering precise information to the administrative team concerning estimates, service calls, and invoicing.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and work areas.
  • Conducting training sessions on products, either in-house or at supplier locations.
  • Interpreting blueprints accurately.
  • Understanding IP protocols and their functions.
