Account Manager

As a key member of the Mylo LLC team, the Account Manager will play a vital role in servicing the needs of small commercial clients. This position requires a strong understanding of property and casualty insurance, as well as excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage a designated book of business, including responding to client inquiries and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Support the implementation of new lines of coverage, including setting up accounts, collecting necessary documentation, and reviewing plan details with clients and carriers.
- Request and collect quotes from carriers, reviewing them for accuracy and making requests for changes as needed.
- Process audits and perform audit reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Update agency management systems to reflect changes during the year.
- Monitor receipt of quotes from carriers and bind coverage as needed.
- Inform clients of any changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverage.
- Input client information into agency management systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Work with Mylo Accounting and/or carrier Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Responsible for completing the Certificate Instruction Document and executing complex or unusual certificate requests.
- Become proficient in using Mylo applications needed to perform job duties.
- Follow processes and guidelines as set forth by leadership in relation to outsourcing, file documentation, system usage, and agency processes.
- Attach all correspondence into ImageRight.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed.
- 3 years of property and casualty insurance experience is required.
- Property and casualty license required or must obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Knowledge of AMS360 and Image Right or ability to learn.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Understands industry trends and governmental regulations.
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
- Attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions.
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines.
