Position Overview:
The Electrical Project Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the operational aspects of various commercial and industrial electrical construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project construction timelines.
  • Prepare and submit Requests for Information to clients.
  • Oversee daily operations of assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders.
  • Organize meetings, provide schedule updates, and manage deliverables as per client requests.
  • Compile look-ahead documents and generate weekly and monthly progress reports, including billing information.
  • Monitor job costs against budgetary constraints.
  • Provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects within specified deadlines.
  • Conduct field evaluations for accurate estimate preparation.
  • Engage in the estimate review process with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compile bills of materials and related information for procurement purposes.
  • Schedule and conduct site visits with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams to assess constructability requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across various project documents.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of change orders.
  • Work closely with project management teams.
  • Support construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle in understanding cost estimates.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
Essential functions of this role are to be executed in a designated office or field location. Adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy, along with industry-specific professional and ethical standards, is required.

Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management and estimating experience within the electrical sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in interpreting specifications, proposals, and documentation to formulate time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) and applicable local regulations.
  • Adept at reading and understanding civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans, including blueprints and proposals related to electrical work.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software such as Accubid or equivalent.
  • Capable of developing construction schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external partners.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to maintain focus over extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with experience and is paid weekly. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and mental health services, along with a wellness reimbursement program and paid time off starting at 15 days, plus 10 paid holidays.
