About the Role

The Credit Administrator will provide leadership and oversight for the loan department staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and continuous improvement of processes. This role will focus on loan quality control objectives, working closely with the Chief Credit Officer to achieve the bank's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Chief Credit Officer and work closely with the loan department staff.
  • Identify and implement improvements to loan underwriting procedures, emphasizing policy and procedure adherence.
  • Collaborate with Senior Loan Operations Manager and Chief Credit Officer to work with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Review credit authorizations and provide feedback to the Chief Credit Officer, Department Heads, and loan officers.
  • Work with the credit analyst team to manage and support credit quality objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of banking experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or credit administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize heavy workloads, demonstrating effective time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and bank staff.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, making decisions based on regulations, company policy, knowledge, and experience.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise. Occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) may be required by automobile, commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation.
