- Communication: Inform patients about delays and wait times, and follow up to ensure inquiries or complaints are satisfactorily resolved.
- Administrative Tasks: Obtain and validate photo identifications and insurance cards, scan relevant documents, and provide consent, financial, and HIPAA compliance documents.
- Technical Skills: Proficient utilization and application of EHR software, hardware, and programs.
- Medical Records Management: Ensure quality assurance of health records, verify completeness, accuracy, and proper entry into computer systems.
- Technical Support: Monitor modality schedules, greet and escort patients, and assist technologists with patient preparation and turnover.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a patient-facing role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
