Job Title: Mechanical/Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Technician to join our team at Educated Solutions Corp. This full-time role will work onsite in Delaware, OH, and requires candidates with experience in either the Mechanical or Electrical trade, with the ability to learn Data Center Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver oversight of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS systems, generators, chillers, electrical distribution, HVAC systems, building management systems, and CMMS work dispatching.
  • Perform daily site inspections of all mechanical & engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
  • Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures in accordance with Environment, Health, and Safety Policy, ensuring all safety processes and PPE requirements are followed.
  • Oversee third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws/regulations.
  • Accompany vendors on site visits as needed and ensure site standards are met.
  • Create and develop work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment. Ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated.
  • Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in either the Mechanical or Electrical trade with the ability to learn Data Center Operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a Data Center environment.
  • Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Critical Facility and Data Center equipment and components, including UPS, PDU, STS, EG, CRAC, CRAH.
  • Understanding of 24/7/365 Data Center environments and the working restrictions applicable to such environments.
