Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Lube Technician - Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on our vehicle fleet, ensuring they are in top condition to meet the needs of our customers.

• Perform Preventive Maintenance: Inspect, lubricate, and service fleet vehicles per company maintenance schedules to ensure they are in good working order.
• Identify and Repair Issues: Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and perform minor repairs and adjustments to various operating systems on the vehicles, equipment, or related components.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate records of maintenance orders, parts usage, and time spent on maintenance activities are maintained on computer/tablet.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with senior experienced technicians to assist with repairs, maintenance assignments, and adjustments.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety devices on vehicles are in good working order and comply with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.

• General Knowledge of Truck Components: Possess a general knowledge of truck components and systems.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertions, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Good mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Tools and Equipment: Possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.
• Travel and Work Schedule: Ability to travel between offices, work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Exposure to Traffic and Weather: Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas, as well as ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry weight exceeding 50lbs.
