COMPENSATION RANGE: $15 TO $16 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members to ensure a respectful and positive service atmosphere for residents. Assist in food preparation following established guidelines and standards. Help in assembling trays according to dietary specifications. Serve meals and beverages to residents. Support residents during meal times as needed (e.g., cutting food, buttering bread, pouring drinks, delivering trays). Clear used dishes from dining areas and maintain cleanliness by scraping, loading, and operating dishwashers, as well as washing pots and pans. Conduct cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold a safe and hygienic work environment. Ensure that all unused food items are properly covered, labeled, dated, and stored appropriately. Restock preparation and service areas to maintain organization. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or designated supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for prolonged periods and frequently bend, stoop, and reach. Understanding of kitchen safety protocols and accident prevention. Familiarity with basic sanitation practices, food preparation, and maintenance of kitchen and service areas. Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age (appropriate work documentation required).

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
