As a Territory Sales Manager at Basler Electric Company, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our products in assigned market segments and territories. Your primary goal will be to grow sales through long-range development of the customer base in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with key customers in assigned territories.
- Schedule and conduct sales calls, trips, and visits to meet with customers in assigned territories.
- Make introductory sales presentations to customers and coordinate the scheduling of visits by Basler technical application personnel.
- Track major opportunities in assigned territories and record/log all customer contacts, opportunities, and trip reports in Basler's CRM system.
- Provide monthly updates on projects, opportunities, and upcoming visits to direct supervisor.
- Contribute to the determination of market potential in assigned territories and coordinate purchase agreements and other commercial items.
- Obtain and report marketing information for potential new products in assigned market segments.
- Attend and assist in trade organization functions as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in direct account sales.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in direct sales of technical products to end users.
- Working knowledge of power systems as it pertains to assigned market segments.
- Ability to travel up to 50% in assigned territories.
