Position Summary:
The Sanitation Specialist is primarily responsible for the routine cleaning and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring that all buildings, equipment, and utensils are prepared for production shifts and adhere to our quality systems standards, SSOPs, as well as FDA and other regulatory requirements.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $17/hour
3rd Shift Premium: $0.75/hour
Schedule: 8:45 PM - 5:30 AM, Monday to Friday (may adjust based on production needs)

Benefits:
Medical, dental, and vision coverage; company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance; 401k plan with company match. Employees contribute only 15% of medical costs at $16.47/week for Single coverage and $49.41/week for Family coverage. The company contributes HSA dollars annually of $1,000 for Single and $2,000 for Family.

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently clean two or more zones on each production line.
- Complete cleaning tasks in designated zones within 3-4 hours.
- Work independently in trained zones without supervision.
- Accurately complete and sign off on all SSOPs related to trained zones.
- Operate fork trucks and scissor lifts proficiently.
- Maintain awareness of GMPs and report any violations to the sanitation foreman.
- Regular attendance and participation in cross-department job-sharing, including production, quality, warehouse, tank-yard, and rework.

Additional Duties:
- Perform any other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on timely task completion.
