Key Responsibilities:


Maintain cleanliness across retail and warehouse spaces, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and customer seating areas, to meet hygiene standards and improve the overall shopping experience.

Regularly sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors to eliminate dirt, debris, and spills, with a focus on high-traffic zones and entry points.

Dust and wipe surfaces, shelves, fixtures, and displays to eliminate dust, fingerprints, and smudges, ensuring a neat and appealing presentation.

Sanitize restrooms consistently, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops, restocking supplies as necessary to maintain a clean and hygienic space.

Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility, disposing of waste properly and replacing liners as required.

Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and restroom amenities, alerting management of any shortages or maintenance needs.

Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning agents and equipment.

Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.



Supervisory Role:
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:
This role is situated within a retail store setting.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
Must be capable of lifting and/or moving, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred. Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, especially in retail or warehouse settings, is advantageous but not mandatory.

Familiarity with safety protocols related to cleaning agents and equipment is beneficial.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with customers and colleagues.

A thorough understanding of safety risks, personal protective equipment (PPE), and the correct usage of various cleaning and sanitizing products.



Position Type:
This is a full-time role with hours determined by business needs.
Compensation: $15/hr
