Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

The Health and Safety Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) program across the U.S. and local site.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and maintaining our QHSE program within the U.S., supporting branch locations, covering ISO standards ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 45001 Health & Safety, and ISO 14001 Environment.
  • Conducting audits of the QHSE and PharmaQMS systems, driving improvements within those locations, and ensuring adherence to corrective and preventive action standards.
  • Auditing subcontractors, organizing and executing training, and making training material available.
  • Ensuring risks & opportunities are identified within the quality function.
Educational Background / Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a business field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of industry-related experience, with 2+ years of leadership and/or project management experience.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Experienced quality auditor with knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 45000 standards.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and transportation & logistics industry experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
  • Network and relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A team player with administrative skills.
Estimated Salary: $67,000 - $84,500 per year
