Key Responsibilities

Provide technical and policy support to the Great Lakes Program regarding water quality, water usage, and environmental initiatives

Engage actively in committees and working groups linked to governmental and non-governmental organizations in the region

Plan efforts that bolster Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) programs and collaborate with other DEP initiatives and regional offices

Ensure coherence with other Pennsylvania state agencies and facilitate access to federal funding opportunities, such as the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative

Requirements

Three years of professional environmental protection experience

Bachelor's degree in the biological, physical, or environmental sciences, engineering, or a field closely related to environmental protection or regulation

Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
