Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at our Chesterfield office. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere
- Assist physicians with medical, cosmetic, and surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including cleaning and restocking supplies
- Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment
- Assist with patient scheduling, billing, and insurance claims
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred
- Experience working in a medical or clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
